2020 NHA CLUB COMPETITION SEASON-NHA BOARD MESSAGE

A big WELCOME to all participants, supporters and spectators to the 2020 Hockey Season.  We acknowledge that Covid-19 has impacted individuals, families, businesses and sports in many different ways, so we’re extra glad to have you back at the Turf and ready to enjoy great games, fun and friendship.  It will be a season pretty different to any other but we hope there’ll be plenty to keep you interested and challenged.

A Big Thanks to those of you who worked on the frontline to help feed us and keep us well and safe during Lockdown.  Also thanks to our staff for setting things up to meet all the health and hygiene requirements and to organise (and re-organise) the upcoming competition.  New RDM, Alice Bailey, has had a baptism of fire into her new job but we welcome her enthusiasm and know that the hockey community will rally around and support her in her role. The Clubs and Umpires group have done a great job to get up and organized in such a short time and we appreciate the input they’ve had into the new arrangements. We encourage you all to get out there and watch some games, help where you can, perform well, stay safe and Be Kind.
