“A reminder that the Annual General Meeting of the Nelson Hockey Association (1993) Inc. will be held on Monday 9 March 2020 at 7.30pm at the Nelson Hockey Softball Pavilion at Saxton Field.

The Board is seeking nominations and applications for positions on the Board and NOW is your opportunity to be involved in the governance of a popular sporting body, to help ensure financial sustainability and set the strategic direction for Hockey at the local level.

Due to the recent resignation of Tristen Mathieson (moving away from the district) there are five positions available – three appointed positions (for terms ranging from 1 – 3 years) and two elected positions (for three year terms).  Nominations for the elected positions can only be made by Clubs, anyone having the relevant experience can apply for an appointed position.  Applications and nominations must be made to the Board Appointments Panel (via the Operations Manager) on the attached form and be accompanied by a brief CV and Statement of Interest.  These need to be received by Monday 20 January 2020.”
