GK TRAINING SESSIONS move to WEDNESDAYS 06:00-07:00 pm

GK TRAINING SESSIONS continues this upcoming WEDNESDAY May 9th

WEDNESDAYS from 06:00-07:00 pm .

Karen Shearer will be running those training sessions.

We had a great attendance on the first session on Tuesday May 1st and we looked to move those sessions to WEDNESDAYS 06:00-07:00 pm.

It has clear that more turf space is required to run those sessions and Wednesdays will be a better option to everyone.

For anyone interested, Karen, have been involved with Nelson Hockey for about 20-odd years (originally from Mid Canterbury). She represented Nelson at the National level (National Women’s Sr tournament, Master Tournaments) on and off for a number of years, and NZ at Master level.
She offered her time to help all Clubs with their keepers and work with them on their basics, know the rules and know their limits (strengths and weaknesses)

This sessions will important for junior keepers to value their position in the team and learn the way to communicate to their teammates.
Turning up to Karen trainings is open to all keepers an entirely optional.

In behalf of NHA and the Hockey Community we would like to express our big thanks to Karen for her time and effort in helping our keepers development.

Thank You Karen!
We’ll see our keepers on the turf again this upcoming WEDNESDAY MAY 9th from 06:00-07:00 pm.
