NELSON HOCKEY SOFTBALL PAVILION SOCIETY AGM

NELSON HOCKEY ASSOCIATION

The Hockey Nelson Board are seeking anyone who might be interested in representing Hockey Nelson on the Nelson Hockey Softball Pavilion Society. The Pavilion is owned by the Council and the Society is the organisation responsible for the day-to-day running of it (including the bar). It’s Vision is to provide an excellent, well-used community facility which supports the member sporting codes. The Board needs to have its nominations in for the Pavilion Society’s AGM to be held on Wednesday 27 June. Election of members are held each year (so its only a one year term) and there are generally four meetings a year unless more are required. Hockey Nelson is entitled to three representatives.
Currently we have only two reps, Diane Proudfoot and Robert Winter. If you would be interested in taking on this role, please get your name and details in to the Operations Manager by mid-day this Friday 22 June. It would be great to have more people involved in this important area.
