Nelson Masters Women’s 35’s Team – Players wanted

Are you keen to be a part of the Masters Womens 35’s

If you are interested in playing at the National Masters Tournament in Hamilton March 2 – 10, 2019 please drop Lesley an email by Friday October 12^th.    Lesley.m@sporttasman.org.nz

Some good things to note before signing on the dotted line: 

• You need to be turning 35 at some stage in 2019 (this can be 31 Dec 2019 – just anytime that year)
• It will be a combined Nelson and Marlborough team (if we have loads of interest we will hold trials).
• We have placed top 3 each year, this year we want to win it!!!!!
• We are there to be competitive and play good, hard hockey.
• The last year the team has been an awesome bunch of ladies who have all worked hard in the lead up – we want the same from the team this year
• Trainings will be about once a week at the minimum (possibly starting in Nov). There will usually be a weekend game which we want everyone at post xmas.
• The cost of tournament will be around $800 (give or take). This covers accommodation, flights, rental cars, entry fees etc
• Fitness is key for our team – it helps both our game and our mental stamina
