Nelson Tasman Event Organiser Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information

Kia Ora event organisers,

Some of you will currently be experiencing disruption to your planned events due to coronavirus (COVID-19).

Many of you will have seen the advice from the New Zealand Events Association last week. Please find the information and relevant links they shared from the Ministry of Health below.

The advice remains the same, to stay informed and take some time to assess and plan, both for impacts on your events and business, and for the proactive steps you can take to protect attendees and staff at your events. The following resources have a wealth of information to help you with this. First and foremost, stay abreast of developments by monitoring the Ministry of Health’s website, in particular their advice for public events and mass gatherings.

Hopefully you find this information useful to assist with your planning and risk management for your event.

If you are currently working with us on an event and have any questions in relation to the NCC Event Fund or Venue Hire Fund agreement and commitments please contact me. If you haven’t already, do contact your venue manager and any other stakeholders involved with your event if your plans are changing.
