NHA-2020 CLUB COMPETITION-(Start Day-Confirmation)

Hi all,

With consideration of the feedback provided from clubs, NHA has made the final decision regarding the club competitions start dates. Start dates are as follows;

• Division 4 will start on the 19^th of June
  • 12 game season
• Division 5 will start on the 24^th of June, 7 games
  • 7 game season
• Senior competition (P1, P2 and P3) will start on the 20^th of June-(12 Games)
  • 12 game season

This new time frame will have allow all teams the opportunity to have 3 trainings as a full team before the competition begins. Team Registration will remain to be due on the 5^th of June. The sooner these are received the sooner the draw will be released.

NHA understands the urgency from clubs regarding affiliation fees and we apologise for this delay however Hockey New Zealand only released this information today. An urgent NHA Board meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday the 2^nd of June to discuss this and proceed with necessary adjustments. We are expecting to send NHA clubs confirmation by Wednesday June 3^rd with confirmed affiliation fees for this upcoming season.
