📣 Weather Update & Fixture Revision – Nelson Hockey Association 2025 NHA Maadi Cup/Neale Shield & Pope Shield & Gladstone Cup.

Due to the current State of Emergency declared for the Nelson and Tasman Region, and the upgrade to a Red Heavy Rain Warning for Friday, 11th July, tonight’s fixture between

Nelson Hockey and Marlborough Hockey Men’s teams has been postponed to Saturday, 12th July.

We’re pleased to share the updated tournament schedule, designed to keep the competition structure intact while accommodating necessary changes.

We recognize this may result in shorter recovery windows for some teams, and truly appreciate your understanding and adaptability.

Met Service has issued a Red Warning for heavy rain for today, specifically affecting the Tasman region southeast of Motueka.

This indicates hazardous conditions, including flooding, slips, dangerous river levels, and significant travel risks.
