2021 SUPER LEAGUE Round 1 April 25th-Blenheim

Hi All,

Thank you for getting back to me regarding your availability for this coming Sunday. Unfortunately, due to final numbers we are unable to make it viable for a competitive men’s and women’s game. We will therefore cancel Sunday 25^th April’s game in Blenheim.

What we now need to do is get more players signed for the remaining two games, 6^th June in Greymouth and 1^st August in Nelson. Can we please ask that you let your teams know that registrations are open and they can sign up here. Association and Club leaders can you please ensure to get this information circulated.

For those who need to know a little more about the back ground of why we are offering these extra games;

Ultimately, we are trying to provide some additional top-level games for our top players who may not be getting these opportunities consistently during the Club season, and also to expose our Representative players some additional games (especially for those in our smaller regions).

It is also an opportunity for our top level/senior Representative coaches and umpires to not only coach/umpire in this competition, but to also mentor our up and coming coaches/umpires at a higher level. There will be no trainings, and teams will be mixed Club and Association, with the intention of being even.

The 6^th June game will be used as a trial for the Tasman Districts Senior teams, so if you are keen to be a part of the Tasman Districts journey sign up here. We are on the hunt for players, coaches and managers so get clicking!
