2022 NHA VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH-(JUNE) LEN PARIS

NHA would like to recognize LEN PARIS as NHA Volunteer of the Month – (June).

Len has been umpiring our NHA Clubs Competition games and mentoring the NHA Div.5 umpires every Wednesday afternoon this season, passing on to them all his knowledge and experience of this important area of the game.

All our junior umpires have been learning a lot from Len this year and are absorbing all of his advice and guidance for their future development. Len has an approachable demeanor and has a way of keeping our young officials enthused to continue to grow and develop their skills and confidence.

Officials play an critical role in all sports and  we are very lucky at NHA to have a large number of juniors willing to learn the tools of the trade. Without our senior mentors assisting them in this space the development of our junior officials would not be possible.

NHA have presented Len a GO HOCKEY Voucher in recognition of his important contribution to our junior hockey officials development and his contribution to make Nelson Hockey a welcoming and inviting environment for our young officials to grow and learn.
