2021 NHA Clubs Competitions SR.M&W

With many challenges associated with holding games under Alert Level 2 restrictions , we are very pleased that we managed to have a successful round of finals matches this weekend to complete our season in full as planned.

It was great to see the great level of hockey during this final weekend with plenty of skills, comradery, trophies and celebrations ending our 2021 NHA Clubs Competition season on a high note. 
The Level 2 restrictions meant we had to limit spectators numbers (100 max) at each area of the facility to allow everyone to enjoyed last weeks of hockey following NZ Government, HNZ & Sport New Zealand regulations.

On behalf of NHA we would like to express our big thanks to our hockey whanau for your support and cooperation.

It was a very challenging season for all of us due to COVID-19 but we think after all, we achieved a great tournament under this difficult and unpredictable circumstances.

NHA would like to express our big thanks to all, Tournament Officials, Sponsors, players, coaches, umpires, to Diane and George at the BAR, Helen & Gerald and their staff at the Canteen for providing all the food for us during this season. Also, we would also like to express our gratitude towards Mrs. Heather Bryant, Alex Smith (New NHA Chair) ,Daniel Hobbs (NHA RDM)-(Tournament Coordinator), Anna Bradley (NHA Administrator) and NHA Board members for all their work and support for the preparation of this season. All of them have been working very hard behind the scenes striving to provide all our community the best experience possible during difficult and challenging times.

This event would have not been possible without them.
