2022 National Coach Development Programme – Coaching of Introductory Players Programme Sunday July 31st Nelson Hockey Association
Nelson Hockey in collaboration with Canterbury Hockey is excited to present this coach development opportunity to you all.
It is primarily for coaches that are coaching players that are new to the game of all ages. This is part of the National Coach Development programme and we strongly encourage everyone to register and take part. Part of the course
requires you to complete the Coaching Fundamentals online course via the Hockey New Zealand online learning portal (see below for the link).

Registrations are now open for 2022 National Coach Development Programme Coaching Workshop. 2022 National Coach Development Programme Date: Sunday, 31st July 2022 Time: 9:00am – 12:00pm Venue: Nelson Hockey Association Cost: Free Open to new/intermediate level coaches of junior, youth, secondary and adults teams outside the premier competition Overview: Coach Development Registrations will close 12:00pm, Monday 18th July The coaches need to complete Hockey New Zealand’s ‘Coaching Fundamentals’ module prior to taking part in the programme. This module can be found via this link – https://hockeynz.brackenlearning.com/online-learning-portal Key dates: Registrations open – Thursday, 30th June Registrations close and participants are given access to the online modules – Monday, July 18th Following the workshop, participants will be given access to an online self-reflection module – Friday, August 5th Please note, we do not see this workshop as an athlete coaching session.
