Whangarei- Home of Hockey for August- (Information)

It’s been 10 years since the Vantage Black Sticks played international matches in Whangarei, so we, alongside Northland Hockey, are taking advantage of an epic week of hockey to create as many opportunities as possible for the hockey community to see, experience and love hockey.

In addition to the highly anticipated Olympic qualification games against Australia for the Sentinel Homes Oceania Cup, we will see a series of development opportunities for coaches and officials across the week, as well as unique moments for our community to connect with our players. From school visits to a one-off stick skills event and the games themselves, there is something for everyone.
