Balance is Better Insights Project – 20th August

Subject Title: HNZ – Parent & Caregiver Balance is Better Questionnaire CHANCE FOR PRIZES TO BE WON

To Parents and/or Caregivers,

My name is Hannah Keoghan, I am a 3rd year student studying a Bachelor of Sport and Recreation at the Auckland University of Technology. As part of my final year, I am undertaking a project with Hockey New Zealand (HNZ) to analyse the awareness and understanding adults have about the Balance is Better philosophy.

Balance is Better is an evidence-based philosophy established from the Sport NZ Talent Plan (2016-2020) which has strongly influenced HNZ’s approach to youth hockey.

To gather insights, I have developed an anonymous questionnaire aimed at Parents and/or Caregivers of youth hockey participants between the ages of 7 to 16 years (as of the beginning of this year, 2021).

At the completion of the questionnaire there is an opportunity to go in the draw to
