HOCKEY NZ-COMMUNITY HOCKEY SUSPENDED UNTIL AUGUST 25TH

Community Hockey suspended until August 25

Hockey New Zealand has been working with our 32 associations and have decided to postpone all community hockey throughout the country, including the closing of association/community hockey facilities until and including Tuesday August 24 due to the unfolding Covid-19 outbreak.

The upcoming Secondary School Tournaments set to begin on August 30 are also under review, awaiting further information from School Sport New Zealand. We will look to provide clarity on these events as early as possible next week (Monday 23 August).

We will continue to review this and future decisions in alignment with government advice.
