This is an opportunity to discover what hockey is all about in a fun filled environment.

6 week program, run in the middle of school terms on Thursdays (four per year) as follows:

  • Term 1 starts – 19th February 2026
  • Term 2 starts – 14th  May 2026
  • Term 3 starts –  23th July 2026 -(5 Weeks Program)
  • Term 4 starts –  22nd October 2026

Trying new sports at a young age can help students with:

  • Fundamental Skills – Pass, Strike, Dribble, Trap, Control
  • Health – Increasing physical activity
  • Confidence – Improving skills helps keep kids more active
  • Environment – Having the opportunity to try new sports and learn new skills in a comfortable environment
  • Social – Chance to meet new friends
2025 Term 4 Junior Program

Thursday 23rd October to 27th November – Saxton Field Hockey Turfs

Kindy Sticks:

3 & 4 years old, fun fundamental skill games

3.45pm – 4.30pm.

$40 for six week program

Fun Sticks:

5 & 6 year olds, learn the basics of hockey, some fun games

3.45pm  –  4.30pm

$40 for six week program

Mini Sticks:

6 to 8 year olds, skill development and game

4.30pm – 5.30pm.

$45 for six week program

Kiwi Sticks:

9 to 13 year olds, skill development and game

5:30pm – 6:30pm.

$50 for six week program

Registration spaces are limited and will close 16th October

Sessions could be cancel under bad weather conditions.
