LED Lighting Project-(Turf 1) July 18th-22nd

NHA is very pleased to inform our hockey whanau that AOTEA ELECTRIC will proceed with the installation of the new LED Lighting system for Turf 1 from Monday July 18th to Friday July 22nd.

We have made some adjustments to our normal club training times during that week and have communicated this to our clubs. We appreciate your support and understanding around these changes.

It has been a very long journey, with years of planning and significant financial support from Nelson City Council, Tasman District Council, Pub Charity and Mainland Foundation, on behalf of Nelson Hockey community we would like express our gratitude for their important contribution towards this project.

We would also like to express our gratitude to the NHA Board for pursuing this project and the planning meetings and submissions to council over the past three years.

We hope this will make a huge improvement to the health and safety of our players, upgrading to high quality LED lighting.

We are currently planning the Turf 2 LED Lighting system upgrade working towards this in 2023.
