National Hockey Championship – Postponement

Hi everyone,

Given the uncertainty which remains around changing Alert levels, and the pandemic in general, HNZ have come to the decision to postpone the Ford National Hockey Championship until the week 14-20 November.

The tournament will still be held in Tauranga and will follow the same format, across the same amount of schedule days.

While HNZ appreciate the new dates may not suit everyone, they tried to find the best possible date for most considering other events in Tauranga, university exams, time to prepare for players and teams, accommodation options and importantly,  allowing more time for a drop in Alert Levels to ensure a safe return to hockey.

Under this situation TASMAN DISTRICTS has decided that TASMAN DISTRICTS SR.M&W TEAMS will not participate in the Tournament this season.
