NHA Board-Mrs. Heather Bryant.

NHA would like to inform the Nelson Hockey community that Mrs. Heather Bryant has stepped down as NHA Chair this past Monday, 13th September 2021.

Heather has been an integral part of the Board since her appointment in 2016 and became NHA Chair by 2017.

Nelson Hockey Association would just like to take this opportunity to thank Heather for all the work she has done for our organisation, the number of volunteer hours she has contributed and her impeccable attention to detail has not gone unnoticed. It is important to note the dedication and service Heather has committed to her role as Chair of the Board. She is a very special person and incredibly easy to work alongside.

During Heather’s time as the Chair of the Board, the Board have implemented strong planning with the 5 year – long term strategic plan to ensure Nelson Hockey is advancing and aligning with the everchanging environment of sport.

We truly appreciate all the work she has done and we are grateful that she will still remain on the Board until her term ends in March 2023. This will enable a smooth transition for Alex Smith our new NHA Chair, and we are sure he will be very grateful for Heather’s continued support.
