NHA COVID-19 Update-(Level 3) 2021 NHA Clubs Competition Information

Hi everyone,

We hope all of you are doing ok in your bubbles keeping yourselves and families safe.

We would like to remind you that Lockdown Level 4 ends at 11:59pm on Tuesday August 31st. On Wednesday September 1st we will move into Alert Level 3 restrictions for a week. The key message is that Alert Level 3 is much like Alert Level 4.

Under this process NHA is following the guidance and directions from NZ Government, Sport NZ and HNZ looking to return to hockey under Alert Level 2.

Just for your information Sport NZ and HNZ are looking at providing us information on Level 2 alert implications soon so right after we receive that information NHA will communicate next steps moving forward to our community.

In the meantime, NHA Staff have already started working on re-scheduled 2021 NHA Clubs Competitions finals weeks to be played under Alert Level 2 restrictions looking to complete our season in full. Just for your information the plan is to complete 2021 NHA JR. & SR. last rounds and finals just before the start of the October school holidays pending how fast we move to Alert Level 2.
