NHA-(CPF- “Traffic Light System”) Information

Hockey community,

New Zealand has now moved to operating under the New Zealand COVID-19 Protection Framework. The Nelson Hockey Association board has reviewed the available information and guidance from New Zealand Hockey, Sport NZ, Ministry of Health and the New Zealand Government guidelines. We have reviewed how we may operate under the ‘With MyVaccine Pass’ and ‘Without MyVaccine Pass’ restrictions at the three alert settings. 

It is our determination that moving to a ‘With MyVaccine Pass’ stance provides the best opportunity for our sport and programmes to continue with the least risk of disruption and meeting our obligations to the safety of our members and staff. Further detail will follow in the new year, but from 6th December 2021 Nelson Hockey will operate under the ‘With MyVaccine Pass’ guidelines. 

We appreciate that this transition has wide ranging implications, but ask for your support as we work through the logistics of working under the current framework.
