SAFE in SPORT Programme Update

As part of our participation in the Safe in Sport programme we have this exciting opportunity to access this FREE training to refresh or upskill your safeguarding and child protection knowledge.

The Safeguarding & Child Protection for Sport training is for anyone working or volunteering in sport. This is a must-do course for our coaches, managers, administrators, board members, and anyone else who is keen. We have one offered in Blenheim and in Nelson. Use the QR code to register your spot.

The Child Protection Leads for Sport training is designed for those that are/or interested in becoming the designated child protection lead in your code, club or team. This course is delivered in a live webinar format, and you can also register using the QR code.

Our aim is to train everyone that is working and volunteering with tamariki and rangatahi in Nelson Hockey Association.

All children and young people deserve to be safe in sport, and training is way we can do that.
