2026 U16 B&G Trials & Training Schedule Information

2026 U16 Boys & Girls teams
Age Eligibility: To be eligible to play in the Under 16 tournaments, the players must be under the age of 16 years old as at 1st January of the year in which the tournament is played.

Optional –

-NHA Player Development Program I-$95 per player.

-Fridays 20th February to 27th March – 5:00 pm to 6:30pm ( 6 weeks Program)

-NHA Player Development Program II-$85 per player.

-Thursdays 30th April to 28th May – 5:00 pm to 6;30 pm ( 5 weeks Program)

NHA Training Camp – $60 per player:
U16 Boys & Girls -Tuesday 7th and Tuesday 14th July – 9:00am-12:00pm, Nelson Hockey Turfs

Trial dates for this year have been set as follows:
Trial one – Saturday 1st August, 10:30am – 12:00pm
Trial two (if required) – Sunday 2nd August, 9:00am – 10:30am2025 U16 training days:

Saturday/Sunday 12th/13th September – Supporters Cup tournament in Greymouth
Sunday 20th September v Marlborough in Nelson

Saturday 3rd to Wednesday 7th October – U16 National Tournament -(Boys-Auckland)-(Girls-Christchurch)
Thursday 22nd October – 6:00 pm-Prize-giving function in Nelson
