On Sunday the Under 15 boys played Marlborough for a new trophy from the McDonald family. Within the first 20 minutes we had scored two goals. A great deflection with Maclaren Smith sending a pass across to Charlie Hammon to pop in the goal. Marlborough fought strongly to shut down our access to goals squeezing out the midfield players. Then another great goal from Max Baker. The second half belonged to Marlborough, with a comeback evening up the score to make it two all at full time. Marlborough will share the trophy for this year. The game was a solid performance from our boys, and a good platform to build on for this weekends games and the remainder of the season.
