2020 TASMAN REGIONAL PRIMARY SCHOOLS FESTIVAL (Y 3&4)-Tuesday September 15th & Thursday September 17th.

Hi everyone,

NHA are very pleased to announce that we will be going ahead with the Y3 and Y4 festival hockey however this will be ran a little bit differently to align with the Alert Level 2 guidelines. To ensure we run a safe event we will be splitting the event over two days to lower the numbers, your school will be on the days as follows;

Tuesday the 15^th of September:

Clifton Terrace

Wakefield

Motupipi School

= 12 Teams

Thursday the 17^th of September:

Hira School

Tahunanui School

Appleby School

Ranzau School

Nayland School

Hope School

= 11 teams

Each day the festival will begin at 9.30am and will run until approximately 2pm. A briefing will be held at 9.15am to cover covid-19 plan as well general safety within the grounds. Operations within the turf will look slightly differently to normal; schools or teams will be designated a turf (Blue or Green), when entering we ask that you move to the coloured turf you have been assigned and remain in that area for the whole day. There will be cones and barriers blocking people from moving between turfs. This is in place so we are able to operate the tournament as two gatherings.

The cafe will be open selling bottles of chips, sandwiches and coffees etc. We will be operating the Pavilion and Café as a separate facility so we ask you sign in when entering this area.

Draws will be sent out on Friday – so please hold tight for these.
