OLYMPIC WEEK IS UPON US |
As many of you will be aware this week is Olympic Week, we are hoping to see some of the incredible things that are happening in your Associations throughout the country. We would love if you could send through photos of community hockey, training, in-school delivery or any of the cool things happening in your community between now and the end of the week. We are going to then put these together in a montage and show some of the awesome things that are happening in our sport throughout the country. If you have any of the Black Sticks players past or former playing in your local competition or helping in different areas of the community we would love to see some of these things captured as well so we can continue to highlight the incredible things that our sport does. Please send all your images through to: matthew.williams@hockeynz.co.nz |

COMMUNITY HOCKEY RETURNS IN AUCKLAND |
Community Hockey was back in Auckland this past weekend as the turfs across the Association were open and hosting all grades of senior hockey. This coming weekend will see the junior players return to the turf as the second biggest Association in New Zealand got going again. We are planning on getting around as many Associations as what we can this year to profile the amazing return to play stories that are happening in your communities. Where it’s not going to be feasible to get to your Association I will be reaching out and asking for some imagery and interview questions to still be able to profile your Association. |
