| Masters Advisory Group |
| At the final meeting of the year, the Masters Advisory Group held a planning session looking forward to 2020. A key outcome was clarification of purpose; To encourage more people to participate in masters hockey (35+) across the country through key areas including but not limited to; game development (including coach/umpire Development), competitions/events (products), Marketing/Communications. The group will act to ensure there are sustainable systems, structures and processes in place to provide a quality Masters hockey experience for the first time player, coach, umpire or manager right through to those at the National Level. There will be a significant focus to build stronger relationships with local Associations around the country in an effort to achieve this overarching outcome. |

| 2021 Masters Tournaments |

In 2021 Hockey New Zealand will host
two important Masters Tournaments – The National Masters Tournament
and the Trans-Tasman Challenge. We are keen to hear from Associations
who are interested in hosting these events. High-level requirements
for each are: National Masters Tournament Hosted late Feb/early March 3 turfs (minimum 2 water) within an easy driving distance (potentially 4 required dependent on team entries) Trans-Tasman Hosted late April/early May 2 water turfs If you are interested in hosting these events please contact Ken at ken.maplesden@hockeynz.co.nz |

packages for the 2019 National Masters Tournament. Could you please
pass the below form onto your teams to get them to sign up for the

ensure that their team is covered in great detail throughout the
National Masters Tournament.

| Member Registration and Transfer Process for 2020 |
|
With the design, build and
implementation of the new Microsoft Dynamics Membership Management
and CRM about to get underway with a soft, staged rollout happening
throughout the remainder of the year, HNZ has been asked by
Associations to advise on the interim registration and transfer
process for Associations, clubs and players for the 2020 season.
We are in the stages of finalising this process and are currently peer reviewing our proposal. This will be sent out to Associations within the next 2 weeks and further details will also be included in the next edition of Association News In the meantime, should you have any questions about the Registration and Transfer Process for 2020 or the technology project in general (we are still looking for people interested in the working groups!), please contact Rachel on rachel.minton-smith@hockeynz.co.nz |
