HNZ-Premier Hockey League start date pushed back

I hope you are staying safe across New Zealand.

As you were aware, the inaugural Premier Hockey League was due to start next Thursday (20 August). Given the uncertainty surrounding Covid-19, Hockey New Zealand has decided to postpone the first three rounds of both the men’s and women’s league, which were due to run between 20 and 30 August.

We are currently awaiting further information from the Government on the Covid-19 alert levels. Next week we will provide an update on the start date of the league.
