NHA BOARD MEMBER-DAVID MUNRO

Hockey Nelson is very pleased to welcome David Munro to the Board. David is a member of the Stoke Hockey Club with a teaching background and currently coaches the Nayland Boys 1st XI hockey team. He has extensive experience in the sporting and hockey fields including having been involved in event co-ordination for international hockey games and secondary school tournaments, member of a hockey club Board, developing strategic and operational plans for a Sports Club as well as coaching, managing and developing a variety of sports teams. David has expressed a keen interest in the further development of participation and pathways for our young players so as many as possible can enjoy the lessons our sport has to offer.  He is committed to the continued success of the organisation for the benefit of our players, coaches, managers and officials.  David will be co-opted for the balance of the current term and the experience and skills he brings to our team will be invaluable.
