NHA Clubs Meeting-Wednesday May 20th-07:00 pm-(Microsoft Teams)
Hi all,
We are so pleased to announce that the staff will be back at the turf working on Monday the 18th of May entering the “Get Ready to Train” phase. We will be working this full week putting health and safety systems in place preparing for the “Prepare to Play” phase to start on the 24th of May, where the grounds will be open to the public.
With all the changes and requirements in place due to Covid-19 I will be holding a meeting on Wednesday the 20th of May Via Microsoft Teams at 7pm.
This meeting is in place to provide you all with some clarity regarding hockey over the next few weeks and months. We will cover the 3 phases created by Hockey New Zealand to return to hockey, health and safety requirements and procedures, what hockey over the next few weeks will look like (as we enter the prepare to play phase) and more key information about the 2020 club competition. I have attached an agenda if you would like a greater understanding of the meeting have a look there; otherwise for more information, or key topics you feel I have missed you are always welcome to flick me an email or give me a call.
To avoid overcrowding (and having too many voices) we ask each club to nominate maximum two people to attend on behalf. Once you have decided who you will be nominating to attend this meeting, please reply with their email addresses so I am able to invite them via Microsoft teams. We will be releasing more information to the greater community after this meeting. In addition to club representatives there will be a board representative, operations manager and myself present at this meeting.
I apologise for the late notice and weekend email about this meeting, the information regarding phases was only released by Hockey New Zealand late on Friday the 15th of May. I hope this is not too much of an inconvenience to you all.
