TASMAN SECONDARY SCHOOLS Hockey Tournament 2020 -August 4th & 5th

EVENT INFORMATION

Date:                4^th & 5^th August 2020

Time:                9:00 AM

Venues:           Nelson Hockey turfs – Saxton field

Entry:              $150 per team
Entries close Monday 27^th July 2020

Uniform:         Teams must wear their school uniform.

Referees:         All schools will be required to provide a nominated referee and must be listed on entry form
(should a team be unable to supply an umpire the team will be charged $30 per game the
team plays, this will be used to cover the cost of outside umpires)

Draw:              Draw will be emailed to Schools once entries close.

Format:           Will be dependent on team entries, but would be a round robin with at least final if possible

Rules:              Games will be played in accordance with Hockey NZ tournament rules  

Game length: Games will be 30-minutes halves as per NZ secondary school Rules

First Aid:         All schools MUST bring own First Aid kits and warm up game balls. All injuries requiring more than basic first aid will be referred to A&E.
