Tigers v Counties

Even though we won 4 – 1 this was a hard game of hockey

We put ourselves under pressure

created lots of opportunities but either put them wide or Counties got a stick in the way and spoiled.

We did go up 2 nil up in the first quarter we earned ourselves a PC Tanya Hawley nailing this one

Couple minutes later thru a good passing display starting at the back MacKenzie Hanrahan slotted our 2nd

2 nil at half time

3rd quarter scored thru Jess Davidson and Hannah Mowat

Counties pulled one back in the 4th quarter making the final score 4 – 1

We have one more pool play game v the locals Tauranga/BOP Thursday at 8 am This will be a tough encounter as both teams haven’t lost a game yet before heading into semi finals Friday
